Meet Dennis Sehovic Key Account Manager

You know when someone’s truly impact driven. They ask targeted questions, work to a plan, and have the tough conversations along the way.

Dennis Sehovic is that person. Whether in his role as Key Account Manager at Bigfish Technology, or in his “second full-time job”, leading indie-rock band Franjapan, you can rely on Dennis for action.

Sold on people

At age 20, Dennis needed somewhere to channel that energy. He landed a job in IT, and while he progressed as a technician, was more interested in building relationships than computers. A sideways step into IT sales proved a better fit, and he was quickly promoted to account management.

“I wanted to be responsible for relationships, and see the direct result of my effort on a business,” he said.

While taking some time to focus on music, Dennis was approached about joining Bigfish Technology.

“I was impressed with [General Manager] Mark, his demeanour and values. Talking with the team, I loved Tristan’s energy and got along really well with Joel.

“It was the people that sold me on Bigfish.”

Dennis loves having the right people around him, whether at work or play. He’s close with his extended family, who migrated together from war-torn Bosnia via Germany before he was born. His energetic German Shepherd, Beatrix, is also great company when he’s working from home.

Progress and patience

Dennis joined us as Key Account Manager in July 2024, and hit the ground running. Bigfish Director Chris Polson said:

“Lots of people say they’re results-driven, but Dennis was very quick to prove it. He immediately asked what ‘good’ and ‘great’ really meant at Bigfish, and then he got to work. He’s built strong, open relationships with our partners, and he’s always looking for ways to add meaningful value.”

Dennis builds trust with transparency, and our team and partners appreciate his candid approach. With sales cycles often stretching for months, he focuses on nurturing long term relationships with the businesses he serves.

“Day-to-day, you’ve got to take the good and the bad. But if you keep doing good work, the win will come.”

Consistency’s also been the strategy with his music career. He’s been performing and recording “pretty seriously since 2018” and still going strong, releasing a music video last month (which even involved renting a Melbourne tram!).

Connect with Dennis on LinkedIn – he’d love to chat about partnerships, music and IT solutions.
